Hi all.
I have a question about making numbers speak with wave files.
I can get the digits 0 through 9 to speak using wave files, but I would like to make it so that it says the full number instead of the digits.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks.
I really don't get this post.
Are you asking for wave files with numbers in them?
BEN.
Well, I write games, and I want to make my scores speak like in those audio games that use sounds.
I know it has something to do with strings and variables, but I don't know what.
The language I use plays sound files.
If anyone can point me in the right direction or anyone has a web address where I can learn this, I'd apreciate it.
for clarification are you stating that you have audio files with the digits in them and you want to be able to have the software play the digits in the appropriate combinations? Seaking a broader understanding of your question....
Well, for example, instead of it saying you have 1 5 6 dollars, or you have 1 0 0 0 points, I want to make it to where it says you have 150 dollars or you have 1000 points and so on.
I have the wave files I recorded with the word thousand, hundred, 30, 40, ect.
I want to make features in my games like a lot of these audio games have.
Thanks.
Gotcha, well:this is one for the programmers for sure.
